"They never seem to have what I’m looking for"
Maybe I’m just picky, but every time I go in hoping to grab what I need, it’s out of stock again. It’s getting frustrating, and I’ve started assuming they won’t have it before I even check.

"Website is such a pain to use"
I tried using the site and it was just frustrating because the search kept freezing on me and then when I finally found what I wanted the checkout process was confusing and didn’t really make sense so I ended up wasting way more time than I expected

I was trying to check out and the payment options just felt really limited. Maybe I missed something or it depends on the account setup, but it kept steering me toward methods I don’t really use. After a bit I just gave up. For a business site, paying should be way easier by now

"Prices feel too high"
Looked up a few things on mscdirect.com and the prices were just higher than I expected. Even basic supplies cost more than other sites, and shipping made it worse. Hard to justify ordering here when the same stuff is cheaper elsewhere...

"Backorder updates weren’t much help"
I ordered some parts and honestly... I didn’t get any clear notice that they were on backorder until I reached out myself. The dates kept shifting, and every time I asked, it felt like no one really knew when my order was actually going to ship.

"I ordered this pack of drill bits..."
I ordered this pack of drill bits hoping they’d hold up for a few home projects, but a couple of them snapped the first time I used them. I still remember standing there halfway through the job, frustrated because I had to stop and figure out another option. For the price, I expected better quality. I don’t think I’d buy these again

"Bulk ordering feels harder than it should"
I tried putting together a bulk order on MSC and it turned into way more of a hassle than I expected. It should’ve been a simple thing, but adding a bunch of items took forever, the cart got confusing, and adjusting quantities wasn’t smooth at all. For a supplies site, bulk ordering really needs to be easier. I ended up double-checking everything over and over because it was too easy to lose track.

"I ordered a few basic parts from MSC..."
I ordered a few basic parts from MSC because they were listed as in stock, so I figured they’d arrive fast. That definitely wasn’t the case. The shipping took way longer than expected, and the tracking info barely changed, so I had no real idea what was going on. If there was a delay, it would’ve been nice to actually be told that clearly. By the time the order finally showed up, I’d already had to buy the parts somewhere else just to finish the job. Frustrating experience overall

"Customer service just never gets back to you"
I ordered from MSC and ran into a problem with part of my order. I emailed customer service twice and called once, but I mostly just got bounced around or didnt hear anything back at all.
Its frustrating when all you need is a quick answer. The products might be fine, but the support was so slow that I really dont wanna deal with them again.

"Support was polite, but I needed a clearer answer"
I ordered from mscdirect and had to call tech support about a part spec because I was trying to get the order wrapped up quickly. The guy I talked to was nice enough, but it felt like he was just reading the same details I had already found on the website, which was a little frustrating when I was already short on time.
After waiting a bit, I basically got a maybe and was told to contact the manufacturer. It wasn’t a terrible experience, and he wasn’t rude or anything, but for technical support I was hoping for a more confident answer without feeling like I had to chase it down myself...

"Packaging seems to be the weak spot"
I ordered a few shop supplies, and the box arrived half crushed with everything rattling around loose inside. There wasn’t any padding at all, which pretty much explains why one of the items showed up dinged. I always notice patterns with shipping, and this felt like a clear case of poor packing rather than just bad luck in transit. The products were fine otherwise, but the packaging really wasn’t okay

"Account stuff feels more complicated than it should"
I use MSC regularly for work orders, and the ordering part is usually okay, but the account side kind of drives me nuts. Some days I log in and everything is fine, then other times my saved info or shipping details don’t show up right, or something feels like it changed for no reason. I’ve had to call support more than once just to fix basic account settings, which is annoying when I’m just trying to get through my list and move on to the next thing. The support reps have been nice, to be fair, and they’ve helped me out, but the website itself makes simple stuff feel harder than it needs to be. It’s one of those things where you think it’ll take two minutes, then suddenly you’re on the phone and wondering why shipping addresses are even this complicated.

"Return was honestly a headache"
The return process was way more confusing than it should’ve been. I kept having to follow up just to get updates, and the refund took alot longer than I expected. Frustrating experiance overall, not really what I thought I’d be dealing with after ordering here.

"Their inventory info is completely unreliable"
I ordered parts that their website clearly showed as in stock, and then after I checked out, I suddenly got told some of them were backordered. That’s on them. It threw off our whole job schedule, and I ended up having to chase people down just to get updates. If you don’t actually have the parts available, don’t list them like you do. The inventory visibility is terrible, and it makes ordering from them way more frustrating than it needs to be.

"Coupons don’t really save you much"
I tried using the coupons expecting a decent deal, but you barely notice any savings at checkout. It’s better than nothing, but I wouldn’t count on them to make much of a difference...

"Delivery was late again"
My delivery showed up late again, which is getting annoying. I get that things happen, but this keeps happening, and then you’re just stuck waiting around, checking the time, wondering if it’s even coming. The order itself was fine, but the timing really ruined the experience

"Invoice didn’t match my charge, is that normal?"
I ordered a few shop supplies and noticed the invoice didn’t match what I was actually charged. Maybe I’m being picky, but that seems like something that should be straightforward, right? I ended up calling twice and still walked away with a confusing answer. It just felt like more hassle than it needed to be, and I don’t think I’d bother ordering again
